"Just a Little While" is the lead single from Damita Jo. Minutes after the Superbowl halftime controversy, Virgin Records made the decision of releasing the song the following morning. The song went on to peak at #45 in the United States, becoming Janet's first single since "Come Give Your Love to Me" to miss the top forty.
