Janet's seat card in the MTV Video Music Awards

Guess who Beyoncé is sitting next to in this year's Video Music Awards. It's none other than Miss Janet Jackson herself! MTV finally gave a sneak peak in this year's seating arrangement in Radio City, and we can see both Beyoncé and Janet's seat cards, right next to each other! Other artists who are seated right behind Miss Janet are Diddy (who collaborated with Janet in 2001's "Son of a Gun", top nominee Lady GaGa (who is right behind Beyoncé), rappers Eminem and 50 Cent, and seated right behind all of them are other famous celebrities like Taylor Swift, Chace Crawford, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner (see seat card arrangement photo above). Janet, who is slated for a tribute performance to her brother Michael in this year's show has been creating a buzz as to how the tribute performance will be like. Catch the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, September 13, live on MTV.

Miss You Much (1989)

"Miss You Much" is the first single from the multi-platinum selling album, Rhythm Nation 1814. The song became Janet's second number one single in the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at the pole position for four weeks. Selling over four million copies that year, the song also became the biggest hit of 1989. Here are the mixes of the song found in the official maxi single, as well as the B-side, "You Need Me".

1. 7" R&B Slammin' Mix
2. R&B Slammin' Mix

Janet to pay tribute to Michael in 2009 MTV VMAs

Janet Jackson is set to pay tribute to her brother Michael this Sunday, September 13 2009, in this year's Video Music Awards. Rumor has it that Janet will open the show. If this is true, it will be the second time for Janet to open the show, the first being the 2000 Video Music Awards in New York. Expect to see a brilliant performance from Janet (and maybe other artists, too) in this very special tribute. Make sure you guys watch it live!

"Put It On You" & "Love Me" (Unreleased)

"Put It On You" and "Love Me" Are two songs from the Damita Jo era. Perhaps, they were cut from the official track listing of the album. However, I really think that "Love Me" could have been one of the stand-out tracks if it made the album.

1. "Put It On You"
2. "Love Me" [Just Blaze Remix]
