Janet's 'Number Ones' debuts at #22 in the Billboard 200

The Billboard 200 chart date for November 23, 2009 had a great number of debuts from many artists including Janet Jackson, 50 Cent, Norah Jones, Justin Bieber, Leona Lewis, Them Crooked Vultures, Kris Allen, Paul McCartney, OneRepublic, Casting Crowns, and John Mayer, who led the chart with Battle Studies, which raked in 301,204 copies in its first week, becoming the week's number one. Janet's compilation, Number Ones debuted at #22, with over 40,374 sold in its first week.

Janet opens the American Music Awards


After an amazing opening tribute performance to brother Michael Jackson in the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Janet does it again this time in the 2009 American Music Awards. Janet performed a medley of "Control", "What Have You Done For Me Lately", "Miss You Much", "If", "Make Me" and closed the performance with "Together Again".
